Dear Gary. I would just like to thank you on behalf of everyone from Glynneath Football Club on helping us celebrate our centenary in the best possible way. Everything from the transport, the accommodation, the facilities and standard of pitches were top class. The addition of neutral referees and linesmen at the games also shows how professional these tours are organised. It’s not easy to organise 29 Welsh lads but Gary did it superbly. Your attention to detail and personal presence at the hotel everyday was much appreciated. We would strongly recommend using Algarve Football Tours to anyone who is looking to play a few games in the sun whilst also enjoying the local sights and sounds.

We just wanted to say a big thank you to Gary for making our Centenary tour so special, we all thoroughly enjoyed it.
We had a large touring party of 29 that took a lot of planning and e-mails for over a year, but it was made easy with Gary's great response and professionalism.
 Once we were in Portugal he was on hand to give us his expert advice of the area and was available every day for our questions which gave it a great personal touch, he also organised a great day out for us to the water park and a bbq for us after one of the games.
 The two games that we played was a great experience for us and was played in a competitive manner against two very good teams and we all enjoyed the beers after the games that were well deserved! In fact In a party place like Albufeira we enjoyed the beers all week,lol.
 We would recommend Algarve football tours to anyone, it was the best tour we have been on and would all love to come back and do it again!

We really enjoyed our training camp in Albufeira, I have to say you everything organised by Algarve Football Tours went well. Training facilities are great & the matches with Louletano & FC Ferreiras were great competition for our boys & nice to play in the Loule stadium. Thanks for all your attention & organisation.

After last year disappoinment we assembled a very strong squad to part in this year's competition in Albufeira on the Algarve in Portugal. It has become the essential end of season tradition & ambition to win a very competitive tournament. The facilities are great. the opposition consisting  of three local amateur sides & another English team is tough.
Great Tour. Brilliantly organised by Gary of Algarve Football Tours & we won against some very good teams. Everybody made a contribution to extradinary few days.

The pitch was a joy to play on and the timekeeping of the transfers was impeccable once again.

“This was the second year we toured Portugal and Algarve Football Tours did a fantastic job. The facilities at Lagoa were first class – certainly better than anything we have ever played on in the UK. The opposition was chosen well – we were well matched and had a good competitive but sociable game.

Just thought I’d write and thank you for the superb tour we have just had April 2011.
Right from the first contact I had with you right back in 2010 you have always been attentive and very supportive full of good advice. As with anything that needs organising that involves a lot of different groups, adults, kids and players it hasn’t all been straight forward from our side but you’ve always been flexible and understanding.
We would thoroughly recommend you to football teams of all ages. We are a team of teenagers and  thought the hotel Paraiso de Albufiera was fantastic with the ‘all inclusive’ being superb for the teenage boys who ate and drank themselves to a standstill. The adults didn’t do too bad with the drinks. It was a superb location from start to finish.
The transport was spot on and we travelled around like a ‘pro’ club in top notch buses. From the airport to the hotel and then from the hotel to our matches. Absolutely fantastic.
On the football side we had stiff competition just like we had requested and all of our coaches were impressed with how you managed to match us up with appropriate level of ability. The facilities and pitches were far better than we are used to in our own league. This made the matches special.
Gary we all enjoyed ourselves and thought you not only put on a good football tour but you helped turn it into a great holiday with your  personal touch and attention to detail being the thing we will remember most.
As you know we had such a good time we are in contact already about next year.

For the Thirsk Old Boys the football was the highlight of the trip, gave some old boys a chance to stretch their legs and show flashes of long gone prowess! The organisation and help was superb, from arranging the trip in the first place, to the transport, the facilities and the banter from the opposition, it really was first class. I would strongly recommend using Algarve Football Tours to anyone, for any sort of trip! The advice and local knowledge made everything easy, and i hope we can use your services again some day...maybe for a re-match having been robbed on penalties! You are a great advert for Portugal and it's something we won't forget!

Ulysses FC is the representative side of the University of London graduates. We have been going on tour annually for the past 11 years, and I can safely say that this has been one of the best (if not the very best) tour for us.

The pitches were perfect, the weather was great, the accommodation was lovely, the opposition was very competitive, there was lots of food & beverage to keep us entertained and (most importantly) the organisation by Algarve Football Tours was excellent...and all with a smile. Tour costs also included referees, linesmen and photographer. We couldn't have asked for a better tour.
I would recommend Algarve Football Tours to any football team looking to go on tour.

Merton Football club plays in the Southern Amateur League and was celebrating its centenary so we decided to have a tour to Portugal and were fortunate enough to select Algarve Football Tours for the Algarve Football Tours Trophy May 2010. It was a tremendous event. Albufeira was a great location with very good accommodation, the grass pitches were superb, the games were of a good competitive standard and well refereed. All the games were played in good spirit. But the tournament and whole tour was brilliantly organised by Gary who was just so attentive to all our needs and every detail that the success of the event was assured. So I would recommend this unreservedly to any football club and book our place for next year.

We would like to say thanks for all your arrangements and hard work over the weekend . All the  group wish to thank you for everything.

This was our second consecutive year playing Destination Football after all the lads showed great interest in repeating what was supposed to be a one off tour. Gary's Algarve Football Tours didn't disappoint and the pre and post match arrangements from the coaches to the beers was very much appreciated. This year we were involved in a 3 team tournament that was perfectly organised without hitch. The matches were again played in great spirit and was enjoyed very much by all. See you next year!

Algarve Football Tours (Gary Thomas) had organised a great training trip for our boys in Portugal from 6 January till 10 January.

The accommodation (hotel Paraiso de Albufeira) was absolutely perfect, training facilities were great and the most important was that Algarve Football tours (Gary) everything had arranged from arrival till departure.

All the boys had a great time and they will never forget this trip.

For everyone who would like to have a great trip, Algarve football Tours is a great organisation to work with.

We enjoyed staying in Albufeira and our thanks go to Gary (Algarve Football Tours) for the great organisation.

"From the moment we were met from the airport by 2 of Gary's drivers we knew we were in good hands.  Gary came to see us at our villa the night we arrived, and provided us with some local knowledge of Albufeira which was very helpful.  The football match he organised was fantastic and played in good competitive, but friendly spirit!  We were very pleased we won the match, and the BBQ and beers organised for afterwards was a fitting end.  I can recommend that if you are looking for something different to do on a Stag Do then ask Gary to organise it for you.  You can't go wrong!!"

We had an unusual request in that we needed three games in three days and in different venues. We found Gary Thomas using Google, as we knew we needed a contact based near Faro Airport due to direct transfers from Newcastle. Everything was like clockwork. We arrived at the hotel welcomed by a placard showing our fixtures. Gary also used his contacts in the local press and radio to publicise our tour and the actual games and opponents were perfectly suited to our standard.
A fantastic tour, the best we've had yet and probably won't be matched. Will definitely be coming again or contacting Gary for advice for any future tours.

Algarve Football Tours were very professional and the whole game was well organised & had a very competitive match. Which we were pleased to win.

I'd just like to say thanks for everything you did for us over the few days we were there.  We really enjoyed the football and were glad we didn't totally embarass ourselves. We were even talking about making it a yearly event.

A memorable day was had by all, and thanks to Gary and his team I manage to pull off a tremendous stag party. The football tournament was very well organised with water and beers provided throughout the day and after the football had finished, we went on to a brilliant post match meal and presentation night. All the guys who came along appreciated the effort which was shown by Algarve Football Tours, not only on the football side of things, but the extra lengths which Gary went to helping us around Albufeira and ensuring we enjoyed our trip. The Beacon Dynamos (so named after the the sports hall in South Buckinghamshire where these old men, who fondly imagine they were once good at football, play a pedestrian five-a-side game every week and have done for the past twelve years) take their low altitude, high alcohol training camp each year on the Algarve, and thoroughly enjoy the hospitality and banter of the Destination Football team (always well turned out in fancy new footwear) whilst being soundly beaten. As long as our aging limbs and livers hold out we aim to be back to resume the challenge for many years to come.
